The Feeding Hong Kong volume 3 recipe collection: “Fast Food” is finally out! The cookbook includes nutritious dishes that can be made in less than 30 minutes and for just HK$10 per portion.
In time for World Food Day, the Recipe Collection is available for purchase at HK$200. All proceeds will go to support Feeding Hong Kong’s “Chefs in the Community”: a programme to empower our charity partners and their beneficiaries with cooking and nutrition knowledge. To date, we have conducted over 50 nutrition and cooking classes for our community; impacting over 200 lives. Chefs, dietitians and food lovers alike, come together to share their love of nutrition and cooking to children, parents, and the elderly so they can prepare healthy meals at home.
The classes offer so much more than education. We’re connecting people, enhancing relationships, and empowering individuals to make better food choices for themselves and their family. Children are given a warm place to go and learn so they’re not home all alone. The elderly are stimulated with foods and spices they’ve never eaten before. Parents, build a stronger bond with their children through cooking.
